ESG Today writes that 2014-founded EnviroSpark offers charging solutions for property owners and drivers to easily adopt electric vehicles, from designing the site, to obtaining the permits for installation, operation and maintenance. The company currently operates over 8.200 charging points across North America.

Aaron Luque, co-founder and CEO of EnviroSpark, said that "securing this substantial funding milestone marks a pivotal moment for EnviroSpark. With strategic support from Basalt, we are poised to accelerate our mission of fostering sustainable transportation solutions."

EnviroSpark raised another 15 million USD back in 2022, which allowed the company to establish partnerships with automotive companies such as Tesla and Volkswagen, as it now announced even more collaborations with Ford Dealerships and IHG Hotels & Resorts, among others.

Andrew Marsden, Basalt’s Head of Energy Transition, added that "as part of our strategy to invest in compelling scale-up opportunities in low carbon infrastructure, Basalt is delighted to be partnering with EnviroSpark to help drive their next phase of growth in delivering long-term sustainable EV charging solutions to customers across North America."
