This initiative is part of Selgros' commitment to supporting sustainable mobility and contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions. By installing these charging stations, Selgros meets the growing needs of consumers who choose to use electric vehicles, facilitating easier and faster access to green energy.
The first super-fast charging stations, already installed
EVconnect has already installed the first stations at Selgros Brașov and Selgros Târgu Mureș. Brașov boasts the most significant hub in the center of the country with 10 charging points: one 240 kW station with 2 CCS2 ports, one 150 kW station with 2 ports, and three 2x22 kW stations.
To simplify the user experience, EV charging will be possible via the Voltrelli mobile application. This app will allow users to locate the nearest charging stations, check their availability, and make quick and secure payments. Additionally, for models that allow battery preconditioning, this feature is available, and by the end of the first semester, charging will be possible via the auto-charge system.
Furthermore, the two companies are committed to supporting electromobility through attractive tariffs and renewable energy. This means customers of both companies will be able to charge at fast stations while shopping at Selgros stores. This approach will encourage more customers to opt for electric vehicles.
"By installing electric vehicle charging stations in Selgros store parking lots, we want to provide additional convenience to our customers and promote a sustainable lifestyle. We thank our partners Voltrelli-EVConnect for their collaboration!" stated Robert Hellwagner, CEO of Selgros Romania.
"By expanding the network of charging stations in Selgros parking lots, we are not only meeting a growing demand but also promoting a sustainable lifestyle, directly contributing to a better future for us and future generations," declared Mihai Dragoș Ciobanu, CEO of EVConnect.
Voltrelli-EVConnect, an expert in electric vehicle charging solutions, will ensure the installation and maintenance of these stations, thereby guaranteeing optimal operation and user comfort.
In the coming period, Selgros will continue to expand its charging infrastructure by installing fast stations in its stores, further supporting the social and ecological responsibility of our community.
