Netherlands hosts the biggest solar paneled carport in the world

At the beginning of May, a 35 megawatt (MW) solar power carport with 90.000 solar panels was launched in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands. Biddinghuizen is the location for the annual Lowlands music festival that attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
