Tech.eu writes that ULEMCo is a sustainable mobility company that is specialized in converting commercial vehicles on hydrogen power, allowing operators to switch to a cleaner fuel alternative, while having the flexibility of functioning on a more common type of fuel.
ULEMCo was founded 10 years ago by Amanda Lyne, a serial entrepreneur and cleantech expert, who previously founded another hydrogen-specialized company, ACAL.
The founder and Managing Director of ULEMCo said that "these investments are a strong endorsement of our technology, capabilities and our vision. The time is right for hydrogen to take an even more important role in the move to clean mobility and net zero."
The city of Aberdeen currently operates a fleet of 55 vehicles that have been converted to hydrogen by ULEMCo and the new 5 million GPD funding will enable the company to increase its number of employees, as well as to develop new products in hydrogen mobility.
Any thoughts?
