ESG Today writes that UK and Finland-based Reactive Technologies provides grid resilience technologies that can help grid operators, utility companies and regulators in the energy transition to net-zero sources. The company offers those who want to adopt clean power sources the option to measure grid stability in real-time.

The recent funding has been announced following the company's expansion in the US market, with a large-scale demonstration project undergoing in the state of New York, in collaboration with multiple utility companies. Some experts believe that Reactive's "GridMetrix" technology has the potential to cut annual CO2 emissions by 1,450 million tons.

Reactive Technologies’ CEO Marc Borrett said that "this investment from M&G along with our existing investors, BGF and BEV, marks another significant milestone for Reactive Technologies. As we deliver more projects to support the global transition to Net Zero, this backing will empower us to deliver at scale, expand our commercial presence internationally, innovate further, and make a real contribution to a clean energy future."
