Clean Tehnica reports that the company even removed the order button on the Tesla Semi page, but new details regarding the performance have been revealed.

Instead of the for electric motors that were initially stated to propel the truck, three will actually be installed.

Tesla says that this will not affect the performance of the truck, which will still be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 20 seconds when fully loaded with nearly 37.2 tons of combined weight.

This means that, despite the new configuration, the Tesla Semi will be able to achieve cruising speed in a third of the time that it would take a diesel-powered truck to reach the same speed.

Also, when fully loaded, the truck will be able to maintain highway speed even when going uphill and the range for the long-range model is rated at a little over 800 kilometers, also when fully loaded.

Due to the fact that the truck consumer 2 kWh of power per 1.6 kilometers, it could be packing a 1 MWh battery pack, although Tesla didn't confirm the battery size.

What the company did mention is that the Semi will be able to recharge back to 70% in 30 minutes.

Tesla previously mentioned that the medium-range version, which is good for about 480 km, will cost 150.000 USD, while the long-range version, with 800 kilometers of range, would be 180.000, but that information was removed from the website, as well.
