According to Electrive, Mini officials didn't disclose any information regarding the car's specifications, other than the fact that it is 4.05 meters long, 1.99 meters wide and 1.59 meters tall.

We know that the car is a pure electric model, but things like power and range are a mystery for now.

Stefanie Wurst, head of the Mini brand, said that "the Mini Concept Aceman provides a preview of a completely new vehicle that occupies the position between the Cooper and the Countryman in the future model family."

"This concept vehicle reflects how Mini is reinventing itself towards an all-electric future and what the brand stands for: an electrified go-kart feel, an immersive digital experience and a strong focus on a minimal environmental footprint", she added.

Oliver Heilmer, Head of Mini Design, presented the design of the upcoming electric Mini, saying that designers were able to focus "more on Mini’s traditional core values in terms of the principle of Creative Use of Space. This results in models that take up little space on the road while offering more comfort, more versatility and more emotion inside than ever before."

The designers also paid attention to sustainability for the new car, replacing leather with "selected materials".

Mini officials also claim that this is the first EV to use a round OLED display, aiming to keep the DNA of previous cars which used a round speedometer/center console.

This will house the car's own MINI Operating System, which will be based on an Android Open Source Project.

The company also implemented LED lights, which can be shown off in a variety of colors and effects, which is why the new Aceman is set to be shown to the world at the Gamescom gaming trade fair, which will take place in August in the city of Cologne.
