According to Electrive, the factory's site could be just outside of London and the company already started the recruitment process.

Loop Energy President & CEO, Ben Nyland, said that "our investment commitment for the UK market is strategic to serve both UK and the rest of Europe."

"We expect to service a truck and bus market size upwards of $15 Billion over the next 2 to 3 years, and our UK facility is established as the localized support center for these vehicles", he added.

Loop Energy also signed an agreement with German company Rheintal-Transporte to deliver fuel cell range extenders.

The Canadian company also has orders from Slovakian bus manufacturer Mobility & Innovation.
