According to Electrive, Renault showcased the new Kangoo E-Tech, which has an estimated range of 285 km for the passenger version.

The space is one of the advantages of the Kangoo E-Tech, as the passenger model has 850 liters of boot space and with the rear seats folded, the space can grow to 2.500 liters.

AC charging is possible at 11 kW and optionally, at 22 kW, with DC charging coming later, which can juice the vehicle up at 80 kW.

It is important to mention the fact that those who opt for the 11 kW AC charger won't be able to rapidly charge their vehicles.

Renault officials stated that the liquid-cooled battery will be good for 160.000 kilometers or eight years of warranty and if it falls below 70% of the original capacity during this period, it will be replaced for free.

For the future of its EV division, Renault hopes to be able to manufacture around 480.000 vehicles by 2025.

Mercedes-Benz is another manufacturer that came with a new EV model at the Paris Motor Show, in the form of the EQE SUV.

The car comes equipped with an electric motor system capable of producing 288 HP and 565 Nm of torque, with higher end options going as high as 400 HP.

All EQE models come equipped with a 90.56kWh battery, but range is not equal on all of them, as the EQE 350 gets as much as 590 kilometers, while the EQE 500 only gets up to 547 kilometers, due to the more powerful motor.

The car will come in an AMG version, as well, in the form of the EQE 43 AMG, capable of producing 475 HP, and EQE 53 AMG, outputting 679 HP.

Just like the Kangoo E-Tech, AC charging is available at either 11 kW or 22 kW, although in the US, it is limited to 9.6 kW, while DC fast charging is more potent, at 170 kW.

Charging speeds will be kept at the top for longer, says Mercedes, thanks to improved temperature performance.

At the same time, Stellantis also presented the Jeep Avenger, which is due to be released in the European market at the beginning of 2023.

The car will be propelled by a 156 HP electric motor, which will receive energy from a 54kWh battery, good for around 400 kilometers of combined range.

The new model from Jeep can be juiced up at up to 100 kW, which the company officials say should take the car from 20 to 80% in 24 minutes and AC charging is also possible, at 11 kW.
