As per ESG Today, LevelTen, company founded in 2016, offers a marketplace and the software tools to help renewable power sellers and buyers reach business goals. LevelTen Energy Marketplace is one of the company's software solutions and it connects clean energy buyers and purchase advisors with power purchase agreements (PPA) opportunities.

LevelTen Asset Marketplace enables operators to purchase or sell solar, wind or storage installations, as well as other green energy assets on a hardware level.

Bryce Smith, founder and CEO at LevelTen Energy said that "the clean energy industry’s growth has been astonishing, but the climate crisis demands that we deploy even more clean energy at a much faster rate. Rapidly growing electricity demand is straining our infrastructure and threatening to undermine climate goals. Our existential need to keep global warming in check requires us to scale procurement and bring new technologies to mass markets even more quickly."

Company officials say that the new funding will enable them to continue to develop these platforms, as well as to expand to new markets that want to accelerate the transition to carbon-free energy.

Aster, Constellation, Google and Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund are among the investors who participated in the 65 million USD funding round.
