As per Tech.eu, BeTriton's amphibious EV can be used as a cargo bike, a small boat for inland waters, as well as a RV (recreational vehicle) also on something like a lake, for example. The batteries give the vehicle over 100 kilometers of range on its wheels and more than 30 kilometers when used as a boat.

On land, the top speed assured by the electric motors, which are three, two for bike use and one for water use, is 25 km/h on land and 8 km/h on water. Furthermore, the integrated solar panels, which can draw up to 250 watts from the sun, can charge the bike if a power outlet is not available.

BeTriton had its first rentals in Latvia, as well as the first sale in Switzerland and thus, the company created a fleet of these bikes to be rented across Europe. "It's a modest target and a small round, but it means the world to us as we continue developing our products and building new units for rent and sale", company officials said.
