According to AZO Cleantech, this partnership should allow StoreDot not only to improve its charging technology, which means a five-minute charge will give 160 kilometers of range by 2024, but also to prove the fact that its batteries are meeting environmental regulations.

StoreDot and Circulor already started the collaboration, which means that the battery charging expert will be able to trace the source of the components that go into its batteries, so that EV manufacturers will have access to this kind of information.

Dr Doron Myersdorf, CEO at StoreDot, said that "it is essential that StoreDot offers its automotive OEM customers and investors full transparency of CO2 emissions, as well as the materials and components of our extreme fast charging ‘100in5’ battery cells. This will give our EV partners even more confidence in StoreDot as we move closer to mass producing batteries."
