The recently presented Vision 7S car showcases the company's future design for its upcoming cars as well as a preview of what the seven-seats SUV might look like.

According to Electrive, Skoda didn't disclose much in terms of the performance side of things, but the Vision 7S packs an 89kWh battery that is good for over 600 kilometers of range and it can be recharged at 200 kW.

Skoda officials stated that "these parameters underline the technical possibilities of the Modular Electrification Toolkit."

Martin Jahn, Skoda Board Member for Sales and Marketing, said that "the VISION 7S is the forerunner of our new design language that we’ll be rolling out across the entire product portfolio over the coming years."

"With the new styling, we are taking the brand to the next level and aligning it to our customer’s new needs and expectations, particularly regarding user experience (UX), connectivity and the entire customer journey", he added.

CEO Klaus Zellmer also said that "we’re significantly accelerating our e-campaign and will be launching three additional all-electric models by 2026, with more in the pipeline."

"We’ll be investing a total of 5.6 billion euros in e-mobility and a further 700 million euros in digitalization over the next five years", he mentioned.

Vision 7S is also being built around sustainability, with the floor and the boot being made of 100% recycled tire-veneer and the upper part of the dashboard is made of faux leather.

Also, the fabric used to cover parts of the interior, including the door panels and the dashboard is obtained from recycled polyester.
