ESG Today writes that Germany-based Reonic offers a software solution that helps SME (small and medium enterprises) installers get a better understanding of the current and the evolving renewable energy market. This can help them deploy renewable power sources quicker, enabling digitalization for some of their processes and operations.

The new funding round will be used by the company to expand its presence across Europe, starting from France. Lars-Manuel Schneider, Co-Founder of Reonic, said that "renewable technologies are one of the fastest growing markets in Europe, which is almost exclusively served by independent installers across the continent, which almost always lack digital tooling. Our goal is to enable these installers to compete, grow, and win. First, by creating best-in-class software as the backbone of their workflows. And second, by offering adjacent services in procurement, payment, financing, and beyond."

The Series A round was led by technology-focused venture capital fund NorthZone and saw participation from Point Nine and Puzzle Ventures.
