Cycles Peugeot, a branch of the popular French car manufacturer, is set to launch new bike models in late 2023 and early 2024 to get a slice of the ever-growing bicycle market.

Three new models have been announced, a city commuter e-bike, a long-tail cargo e-bike and a front-loader cargo e-bike.

While the latter models are destined for more specific applications and are ideal for hauling stuff around, the commuter could be great for those who want to go to work and back fast and with zero-emissions. The commuting bicycle is also the only one to use a belt, instead of a traditional chain.

This is similar to the Serial 1 by Harley-Davidson, e-bikes which we tested a year ago and which we really liked, because of their quality materials and the powerful electric motor.

The cargo bikes, with rear or from loaders, can carry shopping bags, groceries or small pieces of furniture, as well. A mobile application also makes things easy to find your bike and check its range, among other features.

Officials at Cycles Peugeot have not yet announced prices for the new e-bike models.
