According to Electrive, the articulated version of the e-Kent will be 18.75 meters long, compared to the 12 meters of the regular e-Kent and it will be offered with 350, 490 or 560 kWh batteries.

The different battery sizes should allow public transport operators to choose the best pack according to their needs, like distance per line and charging infrastructure.

While Otokar didn't specify the charging performance of the batteries, the regular e-Kent has a charging time of 4 hours and the Turkish manufacturer said that they will be available with "slow and fast charging options".

The electric motor should offer around 410 kW of power, around 550 hp and 3.100 Nm of torque, which should be plenty even if the bus is filled with passengers.

Range is more important when it comes to these buses, but Otokar didn't specify any information regarding that.

The e-Centro minibus is a smaller offering for not so crowded cities or small suburban areas, and it is available with a 110 kWh battery pack.

The e-Centro is said to have a torque of 1.200 Nm and the minibus can go for up to 200 kilometers on a single charge.

The minibus has a length of 6 and 6.6 meters and can carry up to 32 passengers.

Daimler Buses is another company that makes buses and coaches, and it announced that it will only be offering electric buses for European cities by 2030.
