According to Electrive, the "Pioneer Series" will be delivered in the summer of 2022 in Switzerland, then in Germany and Italy, with plans to expand to more countries in the EU in 2023.

The Microlino will be available in four variants and all of them will be powered by a 16.7 hp electric motor that can push the car at up to 90 km/h.

The car will come with three battery sizes, 6 kWh, 10.5 kWh or 14 kWh, which should enable ranges of up to 91, 177 and 230 km respectively.

The batteries have different charging speeds, with the smallest one being able to take up to 1.35 kW, which will charge it in four hours, the medium and large-sized batteries bump the speed up to 2.6 kW, which enables them to juice up in three and four hours respectively.

The entry-level variant of the car is called the "Urban" edition and it comes in two colors and with the 6 kWh battery and the vehicle will be available from the second quarter of 2023.

The "Competizione" variant comes in three matt colors, has a sliding roof as standard and comes with either the medium or the large battery installed.

The "Dolce" edition is more of a retro style vehicle, coming in five colors with a sunroof and the choice between all three battery sizes.

The company states that the "Competizione" and the "Dolce" models could be delivered by the end of 2022 if the supply chain doesn't experience any constrains.

The launch edition, which is the "Pioneer Series" is a limited edition of 999 vehicles and comes in two unique colors, Atlantis Blue and Torino Aluminum and will pack the middle-sized 10.5 kWh battery.

The base price on the company's website is set at 12.500 euros and officials say that there are currently more than 30.000 reservations for the electric microcar.
