As per ESG Today, this marks Quinbrook's largest closing so far and the finances exceed the initial target for the fund. Over half of the funding has already been invested and committed and the whole fund is expected to be depleted over the next year.
Among the projects in which the company will invest its NZPF fund are solar and energy storage facilities, as well as sustainable infrastructure for hyperscale data centers and renewable fuels production.
David Scaysbrook, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Quinbrook, said that "we have demonstrated a consistent ability to move early into highly prospective sectors whether it be mega scale solar+storage projects, sustainable infrastructure solutions for hyperscale data centers, AI optimization of battery storage or synchronous condensers for critical grid support..."
Australia-based Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Supernode Storage Project and Rowan Digital Infrastructure, a U.S.-based developer of sustainable infrastructure solutions for hyperscale data center operators count themselves among the investors who contributed to the funding of the ZNPF fund.
Any thoughts?
