Fisker presented the Fisker Ocean model at the Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona. The vehicle will compete with similar models from Audi or BMW. The company has opened an office in Munich and will also have a European showroom in Germany.

The Fisker Ocean comes in 3 variants - Sport, Ultra and Extreme, and the maximum range can reach over 600 kilometers, according to Fisker statements. Fisker Ocean Sport has a 275-horsepower engine and a range of 440 kilometers. Prices for this model will start at 41.560 EUR.

Ocean Ultra has two electric motors that reach 540 horsepower and a theoretical range of 610 kilometers, and prices will start at 57.000 EUR. The Extreme model has 550 horsepower, 630 kilometers of range and a starting price of 70.000 EUR.

One of the things that stands out about Fisker Ocean is that the inside of the text is made from recyclable materials, such as fishing nets or other recycled textiles.

The first cars will arrive on the European market in 2023 or at the end of 2022.

"Europe is critical to the company's success,” Fisker said in a statement.

The Ocean's first European markets will be Norway, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Austria, with the rest of Europe and the UK joining through 2023. Fisker will start U.S. deliveries in December.

“Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is the ideal place to showcase the Fisker Ocean, as our vehicle is full of advanced technology, including over-the-air offerings that we will take to a new level,” CEO Henrik Fisker said. “With the Fisker Ocean’s combination of performance, value, and sustainability, I believe we have a unique electric vehicle with industry-first features, such as California mode, a 17.1-inch rotating screen, and the longest range in our segment.”
