ESG Today writes that 2019-founded CarbonCapture produces direct air capture (DAC) machinery that absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere using solid sorbents, with the company's system being modular and upgradable. This means that when new, more efficient sorbents are available, CarbonCapture can implement them right away.

Currently, the company is working on a carbon capture project, called "Project Bison", which is co-developed with Frontier Carbon Solutions, which is expected to be completed by 2030 and reach a 5 million tons annual capacity.

Microsoft and Amazon are some of the customers that purchased carbon credits worth 55.000 tons of CO2 emissions, amounting to 26 million USD. Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund, Aramco Ventures and Siemens Financial Services are some of the investors who recently joined the Series A financing.

Adrian Corless, CEO of CarbonCapture, said that "to realize our ambitious mission to decarbonize the atmosphere, it’s imperative that we marshal the capabilities of the global industrial community."
