Tech.eu writes that Clearly offers a climate intelligence platform which so far tracked data from 100 million trips made by vehicle fleet operators, such as delivery and vehicle distribution companies. Using external data sources, the company helps these operators reduce their transport-related emissions and comply with emission regulations, without harming their income.
The 4.3 million USD will be used by the company to improve its software solution, while growing its suite of proprietary AI services. The company also looks to grow its team to be able to expand internationally.
Danielle Walsh, Founder and CEO of Clearly, said that "while fleet electrification provides a significant step towards reducing emissions, our data was able to show that as much as 30% of fuel consumption is influenced by driving behavior alone. By making actionable insights like these readily available, we’re able to help companies improve the way their businesses operate..."
Clearly's AI solution runs thousands of possible scenarios to identify the ideal strategic options, but also, to optimize the drivers' driving patterns and routes.
Any thoughts?
