CNET writes that the SU7 can be described as a "performance sedan", with a 0-100 km/h time of under 3 seconds. The design of Xiaomi's first electric car, which uses the company's own set of electric motors, has taken inspiration from the Porsche Taycan.

The 101kWh battery can offer a range of up to 799 kilometers, Xiaomi claims, while the chassis can support batteries as large as 150kWh, which could take the range up to 1,126 km. As it is, the vehicle offers one of the best ranges in the EV industry and the charging speed is just as impressive.

Xiaomi offers some of the best charging speeds on their phones and the SU7 EV is no different. With a powerful enough station, this vehicle can get back 510 km worth-of range in just 15 minutes, meaning that just a short break at a charging station on a long journey will get you nearly back to full.

A 16 inch display will offer all the information a driver needs at a glance and as far as the price goes, Xiaomi didn't reveal any information.

The base version of the SU7 will come in with 299 horsepower, 400 Nm of torque, which can take the car from 0 to 100 km/h in a little over 5 seconds. Braking distance for the same version is 35.5 meters as per Xiaomi officials.
