2015-founded Vizcab is a French startup that was co-founded by Dr. Thomas Jusselme and Guillaume Lafont and it uses software to help constructors reduce the carbon impact of construction projects. Thus, architects and developers across the world can use this solution to build greener constructions with a lower negative impact on the environment.

ESG Today writes that Vizcab officials claim that the investment comes as the building sector faces increasing regulations regarding zero emission buildings, including one coming from the EU which will force constructors to calculate the lifecycle emissions of new buildings that are over 1.000 square meters starting 2028.

Jusselme said that "with the new regulatory environment, especially the EPBD directive, we are seeing a rising interest for automated LCAs and the demand for our products is growing exponentially. We are excited to work with our existing and new world-class strategic investors to help accelerate our international expansion."

Vizcab officials say that the investment will be used to expand the product to new markets, as well as growing its presence in the existing French market.
