The project aims to create by 2024 the necessary conditions for cooperation between local SMEs and public authorities and to facilitate the development of public policies supporting SMEs' adoption of green and digital solutions in Ilfov and Torino.

The project partners are Măgurele Science Park Association in Romania and Environment Park in Italy.

The project will analyze local norms and encourage solutions for public-private collaboration for the adoption of green and digital business models to develop the resilience of small companies in the two regions.

Representatives of all relevant stakeholders will be involved in the process of developing local green agreements, and the co-creation process will be guided by experts from Amsterdam - a leading city in the implementation of green agreements.

Within the project 5 SMEs will be supported to run crowdfunding campaigns to bring on the market "green" products, targeting the circular economy. At the same time, 10 SMEs will benefit from mentoring in innovation, development of green solutions, and digitization;

The SMEs from the two regions will receive guidance from structural-funds.ro, a team of experts in identifying and obtaining European funding (managed at the national or European level).

The project is a ground-breaking initiative in Romania that, for the first time, will explain and apply the European Green Deal concepts at the level of authorities and SMEs which will be adapting their business models.
