One Cotroceni Park has undergone a series of verifications and simulations and has obtained the pre-certification by assuming and meeting the criteria and objectives of energy performance and environmental responsibility.

The residential development includes over 850 homes with modern design and premium finishes, arranged on 11 floors.

The Green Homes pre-certification obtained by One Cotroceni Park was granted based on a series of measures adopted by the developer, with many benefits for future residents, such as: high energy performance according to nZEB (near zero energy) principles, renewable energy sources - photovoltaic, high level of comfort offered by green spaces, materials and finishes that offer a superior quality of the indoor environment and a positive impact on the health of the inhabitants.

The apartments at One Cotroceni Park also benefit from sanitary units with low water consumption, efficient irrigation, and green spaces.

"The Green Homes pre-certification obtained by One Cotroceni Park continues the series of steps that our company is taking in order to offer sustainable residential developments. All of these energy efficiency measures ensure both a healthy living space with minimal environmental impact, and other significant benefits, such as reductions in monthly costs through significant energy and water savings or access to the concept of green real estate credits. By collaborating with Romania Green Building Council, we have made a firm commitment to Green Homes certify our entire residential portfolio. Thus, we are among the first developers in Romania to implement strategies on energy efficiency and carbon footprint even before the requirements of national nZEB legislation”, says Beatrice Dumitrașcu, CEO Residential Division One United Properties.

One Cotroceni Park is developed on the site of the former Ventilatorul platform.

The Romania Green Building Council also considered the importance of developing on an abandoned industrial area, with a positive impact on the city. At the same time, the project is provided with stations for charging electric cars and other measures to encourage sustainable mobility solutions.

Green Homes pre-certification will be followed by green certification after development completion.
