Brandes GmbH is one of the companies that were present at the "Energy efficiency in the industry" event and Andreas Schroder, the company's Head of Sales, presented the German firm's solutions.

These are the sensors for detecting early water infiltration and humidity.

Until now, the German company managed to sell 60.000 kilometers of these nickel-chrome sensors, which is a patented solution.

The system is used throughout the entirety of Europe in sensitive areas, such as data centers and surgery rooms, and in Germany, the observation is automatized in 136 cities.

ELSACO is a company that Brandes collaborates with to ensure that not only the systems have been mounted properly, but also that they will be able to operate for the longest time possible.

Andreas Schroder claims that the problems regarding water infiltration are common and in Germany this kind of infiltration happens every 30 seconds.

According to the representative, over the course of a year, these events cause 2.3 billion euros worth of damage.

One of the systems that makes Brandes different from other companies is the staged warning system, which implies the fact that the user will be warned from the very smallest breach that there is a problem.

This way, the company aims to prevent late warning that, in the case of bigger damage, would be virtually useless.

At the same time, the infiltration systems are being effective over the course of the whole pipe or floor, meaning that there are no uncovered areas.

Also, in the case of a damaged point, the system will show text and image, so that the solution can be quickly delivered and the staged system showcases how bad the damage actually is.

The error of measurement of this system is 0.05% per one kilometer, meaning that its accuracy is nearly 100%.
