The company aims to have 85% of its Tellur products green by 2030, made exclusively from biodegradable, recycled and recyclable materials.

Devices from this range are already sold in Romania, the Republic of Moldova, the Baltic countries and the former Yugoslavia, and by the end of the month they will enter the Western European, UK, US, Canadian and Mexican markets. In 2021, the company's revenues (listed on the AeRO market of the BVB, with the symbol ABN) increased by 16.2% year-on-year to 108.7 million lei, and profit climbed by 67.8%.

After the pre-launch phase in April, when the first Tellur Green products (chargers, cables and portable Bluetooth speakers) were available exclusively on the Orange network (Orange Shop and Orange.ro), since May these products can be found in all ABN Systems International partner stores in Romania, and from today they are being launched globally.

Outside Romania, Tellur Green products have been gradually going on sale this month in the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), the former Yugoslav states (Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia), and by the end of the month they will reach Western European markets in the UK, USA, Canada and Mexico. They will then be sold in India and the Middle East.

The use of materials such as wheat fibre, recycled nylon (96% of which is used in a cable) and recyclable plastic makes the manufacturing process for these 'green' products more complex, requiring more certification, but ABN Systems International estimates that demand for such products is growing in both developed and emerging markets.

By the end of this decade, ABN Systems International aims to have the majority of its Tellur products 'green', tailored to this consumer demand. Thus, the company will continue to gradually enrich its Tellur Green range: in the second half of 2022, more car chargers, headphones, power banks will be on sale, and in the longer term the production of keyboards and mice.

"We have banked on the high interest in green products in Western European countries and therefore chose to have the global launch of the Tellur Green range at this year's Channel Summit EMEA. It's an event that brings together powerful players in IT&C manufacturing and distribution and sets the direction in which the market is going, and this year we believe Tellur Green products are not only in line with market expectations, but projecting the future. Across all industries there has been a growing concern for the environment and consumers are becoming more responsible and want to have green options, to be able to buy a pair of headphones or a charger that has already been made from recycled or recyclable materials and that they know can be recycled. We were pleased to see the same interest in Romania, as based on feedback from the first month of Tellur Green sales exclusively on the Orange network, sales slightly exceeded our expectations and the public was very receptive," said George Barbu, CEO of ABN Systems International.

Since the creation of Tellur in 2015, ABN Systems International has launched over 2. 000 products under this brand, of which over 200 are currently active, and the main ranges are (1) Audio (headphones, speakers, car audio kits); (2) Cables (Lightning, Micro-USB, Type-C, adapters); (3) Energy (plug and wireless chargers, external batteries, car chargers); (4) Mobile phone holders; and (5) Smart Home (security and monitoring products, smart sensors, WiFi smart switches, climate and home comfort products).
