ESG Today reports that Israel-based Wint aims to help businesses across the globe to also reduce water leaks, which can lead to environmental issues and even damaging buildings. Wint's solutions can be applied both to buildings that are constructed, but also to on-going constructions.

With the 35 million USD investment, the 2011-founded company expects to be able to not only reach new customers, but also to improve its AI-based technologies.

Alon Geva, CEO of WINT, said that "we’re excited to close this round at a time when water scarcity and climate change are becoming some of humanity’s greatest challenges, while the costs of water leak damage in buildings is reaching unacceptable levels for insurers, owners, developers and contractors."

Inven Capital and Taronga Ventures are among the investors who participated in the recent 35 million USD round.
