The Romanian business that uses reeds to replace plastic or paper straws

Mihai Palura and Dorinela Oaie worked in corporations before the Covid-19 pandemic started. But when the lockdown hit Romania in March 2022 they moved to the Danube’s Delta, where they could work remotely. Once there, they set up a business called Pai din Stuf (Reed Straws), which wants to replace plastic straws with ones made from what is already found in Romania.
