9 Octombrie 2023A massive reduction of ozone-depleting chemicals is supported by EU officials
A provisional agreement to massively reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from fluorinated gases (F-gases) and ozone-depleting substances (ODS) was reached recently by the European Parliament and the Council. Building on existing EU legislation which has already limited the use and emissions of these gases significantly, the Regulations agreed on will prevent almost 500 million tonnes of further emissions by 2050.
