Electrive writes that the Elroq sits behind the larger and more expensive Enyaq, at 4.48 meters long, compared to 4.65 meters. However, if we were to compare the model to others in the Volkswagen Group, the new Elroq is longer than the VW ID.3 and the Cupra Born, which are 4.28 meters long, but shorter than the ID.4, which sits at 4.58 meters long.
The Elroq comes in four models, including the entry-level Elroq 50, with a 52kWh battery and a 125kW electric motor and the Elroq 60, with a 59kW battery and a 150kW motor. The lineup is completed by the Elroq 85, which will offer a 77kW battery for which the range is estimated at 560 kilometers, and a 210kW motor, as well as the Elroq 85x, with the same battery, but a slightly more powerful 220kW electric powertrain and all-wheel-drive.

The charging speeds are 145 and 165kW for the lower-end models, while the top trims come with 175kW each.
Compared to the ID.3, which seems to be its closest relative in the group, the Elroq will offer more space, particularly in the boot, where the capacity grew to 470 liters from the ID.3's 385. The Elroq is said to sport the same safety driving features as other Volkswagen Brand cars, while the large central tablet keeps things running in terms of the infotainment system.

It remains to be seen how the range fairs on all trims and what the prices for the higher-end models will be.
