Teams of 3-5 members can enter the Change4Impact competition. There will be two physical locations, one in Bucharest and one in Cluj-Napoca, so participants can opt for one of them, but also an online platform for those who want to participate remotely. Teams will be mentored by mentors throughout the competition and will be able to use any tools or technology they want to reimagine the future and develop inventive solutions.

The first day of the event, May 26, is dedicated to a conference that will take place simultaneously in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca. On the stage in Bucharest, the topic will be How can we use sustainable technologies to do good, and on the stage in Cluj-Napoca we will look for solutions to How can we reduce the carbon footprint in the industry by developing sustainable IT solutions. The conference will be broadcast live through a fully interactive virtual platform so that participants will be able to easily move from one scene to another. Speakers include Marcus Fromm, Travel & Transportation Industry Lead, Accenture Switzerland; Amedeo Perrone, Group Design Director, Fjord Milan; Cornel Amariei, inventor, author, entrepreneur, founder of .lumen; and prof. univ. Dr. Răzvan Bologa, Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest.

The actual competition will start on Thursday, May 27, and will last a total of 36 hours, during which time competitors will develop the proposed applications from scratch. For them, participants can choose between two themes: environmental and social.

On Sunday, May 29, at 10.00, the teams will present the developed applications, and at 14.00, after the evaluation of the jury, the awards gala will take place. First place will receive a prize of 6,000 euros, second place a prize of 2,000 euros, and third place a prize of 1,500 euros.

The Change4Impact jury will be made up of professionals with experience in IT, as well as university professors and experts in sustainability. These are Tamás Levente, associate professor Prof. at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and CEO at Robotics.AI, Kőrösi Csilla, Industry X Innovation Lead & Accenture Romania Corporate Citizenship Lead, Emilian Bouros CEO at Pulsar Works, Assoc. Dr. Christian Săcarea, Vice-Rector of Babeș-Bolyai University.

The Accenture event is organized with the support of Techsylvania and is addressed to all those who are passionate about technology, industry, innovation, sustainability and who want to develop a more sustainable world through technology.
