According to Sustainability Mag, ASUS also presented the sustainability goals for 2025, with 2020 being the baseline for refference.

The company will focus on things such as climate actions, responsible manufacturing and circular economy.

Jonney Shih, ASUS' Chairman, stated that "last year, ASUS officially committed to strengthening our R&D efforts to further increase product energy efficiency to a level that is on average 30% higher than the specifications of Energy Star, the strictest environmental standard."

"We will continue to strengthen the core competencies of the company and cultivate exceptional talent for ASUS to fulfil our business philosophy of striving to be among the world-class green high-tech leaders and to provide valuable contributions to humanity", he added.

Shih, who's been Chairman for the Taiwanese company since 1993, says that the workforce is the biggest asset of any company, crediting the employees and the corporate culture for ASUS's success.

With a presence in 75 countries, ASUS had a 19.1 billion dollars revenue in 2021.
