The Swedish startup that invests in a more sustainable production

Swedish electric motorcycle manufacturer STILRIDE managed to secure 3.7 million euros worth of funding, which the company will use to develop sustainable manufacturing technologies as well as move forward with production and innovation.

According to Tech.eu, more than 135.000 people are waiting to get their hands on the Sports Utility Scooter One, three times as many as in January of this year.

STILRIDE was founded in 2020 by Tue Beijer and Jonas Nyvang and the company's design language is truly unique in the space of electric two-wheeled vehicles.

The Swedish startup even teamed up with space innovation startup I.S.A.A.C. in order to potentially implement STILRIDE's technologies in space applications.

Polestar, who aims to make the world's first climate-neutral EV, mentioned the motorcycle manufacturer as a partner in its mission.

Jonas Nyvang said that "we’ve been blown away by the interest in both our technology and our first e-mobility launch."

"We truly believe we have the power to change the future of sustainable design and manufacturing, and this new investment will enable us to push the boundaries of our technology even further, even sooner than we’d hoped", he added.
