As per Tech.eu, Cosmic Aerospace is a US-European startup working in the aerospace industry, which focuses on designing long-range electric aircraft, focusing on better fuselage designs and propulsion systems, rather than adding more batteries.

Christopher Chahine, founder and CEO at Cosmic Aerospace, said that "I felt that, despite the knowledge that aviation emissions were an urgent and growing problem, the industry shied away from taking the bold steps needed to explore solutions that are both commercially viable and capable of delivering impact in the near future."

Cosmic's team said that the recently-obtained funds will enable the company to boost the development of its proprietary wing design, which it bets on for increase energy efficiency. The first full-flight demonstrator is set to take place in 2026, with the upcoming aircraft entering service possibly within this decade.
