In its first open call, SynergistEIC received 192 applications from 28 countries, highlighting the growing interest in sustainable businesses that address environmental challenges across Europe.
After the selection process, 15 startups were chosen for a six-month acceleration programme, receiving tailored support and funding of up to EUR 50,000.
The selected startups were divided into two tracks:
EIC track: 5 startups with prior experience applying to the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator.
Non-EIC track: 10 early-stage startups with high potential and no prior experience with the EIC Accelerator.
These startups are better equipped to address Europe’s sustainability challenges and expand their solutions internationally.
